Aloha!
Just thought I'd share a little that has been happening. The other day a group of us went up to a place
where they are building a sanctuary overlooking Tototlan. At one point I asked if we could pray. We gathered under the roof
of the structure and sat on some makeshift benches. I began to pray in English - having asked my nephew Chato and his cousin
Doro to help translate - I prayed a little - slowly - and they translated. I had wanted to pray for Chato's wife's sister
who is involved in fighting against the legalization of abortion, and I felt that the Lord wanted to encourage her and let
her know that there are others fighting with her. Then Chato began to pray for the people of the town, and his family who
were sick or in need by name. Understand that this is not normal for him or the others. Then his cousin Doro and Chato's wife
and her sister began to name different people who needed Gods touch, all of this so out of the ordinary. Chato told me this
morning, as I had brought up the subject of prophecy that the Bible speaks of as a gift in the church, that as he thought
back on it he had felt like he was supposed to pray about these needy people and to lead out in this. This is not normal for
him but he is beginning to step out and as he does others are being affected and following his lead. We talked about this
more and about experimenting in this area praying and prophesying to one another. Hopefully we will have more opportunity
to do this with others both at his house and around town. There are so many here in need of a real encounter with the Father
and His Love and Power.
There is also a garbage dump nearby where like many places in the world of the poor people are living,
kids are living and trying to survive. I am hoping we will have a chance to go there and to see what God might do. Please
pray about all these things. I believe the Lord wants to move in a great way here and I am just trying to hear His instructions.
I can see wonderful things happening here as people get in touch with the Lord.
